Don't get me wrong I like the musical just fine, but the 1925 silent film with Lon Chaney Sr. PWNS SO HARD
They don't make scary movies like that anymore...sure it's a lot of physical acting and not so much emoting but that's whats great about it...
The "unmasking" scene ACTUALLY made me jump...it's hard to do that...and it was all on physically building suspence and the excellent music.
